How to share a Zalando basket with one link
Picking an outfit together usually means ten screenshots and a size argument. Instead, capture your Zalando basket with the free BuyMeGift extension and send one link. The sizes and colours you chose travel with it.
Step by step
Install the free BuyMeGift extension
Add BuyMeGift to Chrome or Edge. It is free, and creating or opening a shared cart never asks for an account.
Fill your Zalando basket as usual
Choose the size and colour on each product page and add everything to the basket. What you pick here is what gets captured — the extension reads the basket, it does not guess variants.
Open the basket page, then click “Save cart draft”
Click the BuyMeGift icon while the Zalando basket page is open. The popup shows “Cart Detected” with the item count and a share expiry of 5, 10, 30 or 60 minutes. “Save cart draft” stores it and gives you a BMG-XXXXXX code.
Click “Share Link” to publish it
A draft is private and its timer has not started. In the Session tab, “Share Link” publishes the cart, starts the countdown, and unlocks the WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, iMessage and Copy Link buttons.
The recipient clicks “Add to Zalando cart”
Their link opens a cart preview on BuyMeGift. “Add to Zalando cart” reopens each product page in the background, re-picks the saved size and colour, and adds it to their own basket. They check out on Zalando.
Frequently asked questions
Do sizes and colours really carry over?
Yes. The extension stores the variant it read from your basket and re-selects it on the recipient's side. Where it cannot find that exact option, it stops instead of guessing, and the item is left for a manual add.
How long does the link stay alive?
You choose 5, 10, 30 or 60 minutes when saving the draft; 30 is the default. While the link is live you can extend it by +5, +10, +30 minutes or +1 hour from the extension's Session tab.
Does the recipient need the extension?
Only for the one-click rebuild. Without it the preview page still opens in any browser and “Open manually” opens each product in its own tab.
