How to make a gift list and share the link
A shared cart is for one purchase, right now. A gift list is the slower thing: a wishlist you keep adding to, share once, and let other people claim from. Here is the whole flow, including the part that stops two people buying the same present.

Save products with the heart
Tap the heart on any product card or product page. Signed out, the list lives in this browser only — nothing is lost, but nothing syncs either.
Sign in to keep it and to watch prices
A free account moves the list onto every device and puts the products you saved from our catalogue under price watch, so a drop reaches you instead of being missed.
Add things from other shops with the extension
On a product page in a shop outside our catalogue, open BuyMeGift and use “Save for later”. Connect the extension once from your wishlist page and those saves land in the same list.
Create the share link
On your wishlist, “Create share link” mints one private link. “Copy link” hands it to family; “Stop sharing” revokes it, and a new one can be made whenever you like.
Guests claim what they are buying
Anyone opening the link can press “I'll buy this” on an item, optionally with their name. Everyone else sees it as taken — the point of the list is that nobody arrives with the same present.

Do I need an account?
To save products, no — the heart works signed out. To share the list you do: the link is minted against your account so you can revoke it later.
Do you track prices on everything I save?
On products from our own catalogue, yes. Items the extension saved from shops outside the catalogue are kept as a snapshot with a link, and we say so on the list — we do not claim to track a price we cannot see.
What is the difference between a gift list and a shared cart?
A gift list is long-lived, private-by-link and claimable. A shared cart is a snapshot of a real basket that expires in minutes and is designed to be rebuilt in one click.
