How to share an AliExpress cart with a friend
AliExpress carts get long, and every item has its own colour, size or “ships from” option. One link beats twenty pasted URLs — with one honest caveat about variants that this guide does not skip.
Step by step
Install the free BuyMeGift extension

Open your AliExpress shopping cart
Use the full cart page, not the cart flyout. The extension reads the cart page only, which is also why it will tell you to “open the store cart first” anywhere else.
Click “Save cart draft”
The popup lists what it found and saves a private draft with a BMG-XXXXXX code. Nothing is public yet.
Click “Share Link” and send it
Publishing starts the expiry countdown you chose. Share it over WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram or by copying the link, or just read out the BMG code — the extension's Receive tab accepts the code on its own.
The recipient rebuilds and checks the variant
“Add to AliExpress cart” reopens each item and adds it. AliExpress variant pickers vary wildly between sellers, so tell them to check colour, size and shipping option in their own cart before paying.
Frequently asked questions
Will the colour and size come across?
Usually. The extension stores the variant it read and re-selects it, but AliExpress sellers build their pickers differently, so check the variant in the rebuilt cart before paying. It never substitutes a different option silently.
Can I share a cart with more than a handful of items?
Yes. Each item is reopened in turn, so a long cart simply takes longer to rebuild. Nothing is added twice if the same link is opened again in the same cart.
Is my AliExpress account exposed by the link?
No. The shared page holds a snapshot of the products — names, prices, quantities and links. It carries no session, no address and no payment data, and BuyMeGift never takes a payment.
