Lampa wisząca Orient™ z organicznie ukształtowanym kloszem aluminiowym Projekt lampy wiszącej Orient™ pochodzi z 1963 roku i jest dziełem Jo Hammerborga.
Nie stracił on nic ze swojej stylistycznej prezencji.
Lampa wisząca, której aluminiowy klosz jest ręcznie formowany w drewnianej formie, nadaje się doskonale na przykład do oświetlenia stołu jadalnego lub lady.
Jo Hammerborg (1920-1982) ukończył szkolenie jako złotnik, w latach 1940-1945 brał udział w walce o wolność Danii jako sabotażysta, studiował w akademii sztuki, a w latach 1957-1980 pracował jako szef działu projektowego w firmie Fog&Mørup produkującej oprawy oświetleniowe.
W tym czasie stworzył ponad 180 lamp, które charakteryzowały się jego jasną filozofią projektowania oraz ogromnym zrozumieniem formy, funkcji i estetyki.
Przez dziesięciolecia jego dzieła były dostępne wyłącznie u handlarzy antykami.
W 2013 roku tradycyjna duńska firma FRITZ HANSEN wraz z rodziną Jo Hammerborga podjęła decyzję o ponownym wprowadzeniu na rynek lampy wiszącej Orient™.
Od prawie 150 lat FRITZ HANSEN jest gwarantem produktów o wysokim poziomie wykonania i ekskluzywnym wzornictwie.
