Mosquito conduct hotend od spoločnosti Slice Engineering.
Malý a ľahký zabezpečuje rýchlejší pohyb v osiach XY.
Jeho veľkou výhodou je, že dokáže odolávať teplotám až do 500°C, vďaka čomu môžeme pomocou neho tlačiť prevažnou väčšinou vysokoteplotných filamentov.
Nemá však ventilátor – treba pamätať na správnu vodivosť tepla, aby sa zabránilo fenoménu heat creep.
Preto je najlepšie ho pripevniť na kovovú časť, ktorá bude schopná odvádzať teplo z základne hotendu.
Výrobca uvádza, že táto časť má minimálne 88 cm² plochy vystavenej vzduchu s izbovou teplotou.
